Ashley Wilkinson
Ashley earned her Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Aurora University and Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Eastern Illinois University. Over the past 13 years, she has worked in foster care, developing clinical expertise with children, adolescents and families. She has also taken an interested in trauma therapy and has the distinct honor of teaching a Trauma Treatment course at Aurora University’s MSW Program.
Once you meet Ashley, you will see how attuned she is to clients, insightful and knowledgeable she is about different types of therapy and coping strategies to handle even the most complex situations. She is particularly skilled in trauma treatment methods, play therapy and strengths-based, solution-focused therapy. We are happy to have Ashley on staff and look forward to her expanding her role at Riverwalk!
