Kandee Willis, M.A., LCPC
Kandee earned her Master’s Degree in Human Services Counseling from National Louis University and is a licensed clinical professional counselor. She has worked in the behavioral health field for over 25 years serving adults, adolescents and their families. She is certified in problem and compulsive gambling, and has training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Levels 1, 2, and 3. Kandee is passionate about working with couples and helping them to ignite intimacy. She is currently pursuing certification in Sex Therapy.
Initially, Kandee served in the US Army as a behavioral science specialist counseling inmates, soldiers and their family members. She was a member of a combat stress team and worked with a MASH hospital during Desert Storm. She has worked with chronically mentally ill adults as well as with crisis intervention helping adolescents, adults and their families manage psychiatric crisis. In addition, she has experience facilitating therapy and psycho-educational groups in the management of schizophrenia, domestic violence, stress management, suicide prevention and substance abuse prevention in adolescents.
Kandee’s treatment philosophy provides acceptance and understanding to clients and help them employ choices and behaviors to improve their lives. She accompanies her experience, education and skill with providing hope and reassurance along the way.
