Once you meet Ashley, you can sense how attuned she is to clients. She is insightful, knowledgable and incorporates different types of therapy and coping strategies to handle even the most complex situations. She is particularly skilled in trauma treatment methods, play therapy, strengths-based, and solution-focused therapy.
Ashley earned her Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Aurora University and Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Eastern Illinois University. Over the past 13 years, she has worked in foster care, developing clinical expertise with children, adolescents and families. She has also taken an interest in trauma therapy and has the distinct honor of teaching a Trauma Treatment course at Aurora University’s MSW Program.
